Invisible Friend is a 5-year project of the collaboration between Mike Jedlicka and Geoff Richards (Electric Blanket). Mike and Geoff began by sending reason files back and forth focused on the mix between live instruments and electronic sounds. The two played/recorded all instruments on the album (including the sitar, bass, guitar, piano, and tabla) except for violin (Track 7- Lisa Marsicek) and drums (Track 1- Walter Maenhout).
In 2008 they sent 11 tracks out to be mastered by John McCaig of PanicStudios, and out came what is now Invisible Friend. This album is another of Optic Echo's free mp3 releases. Let us know what you think by contacting us here. Enjoy!!
